Testimonials

As Tyler heads of to the University of Central Florida I wanted to thank-you for all the hard work, instruction, guidance and direction you have provided to him. Tyler has been with the Mastrole passing academy for 2 years and has gained invaluable QB skills. Although we live in West Palm Beach .it is well worth the drive to come down and receive “Top Notch” QB training. Your knowledge of the QB position and the drills and experience that you pass on to the kids is outstanding. You have also taken the time to give Tyler advice and talked to coaches at the college level to help Tyler out. This is much appreciated!! My biggest regret is that we did not start with you when Tyler was younger. I would encourage all parents with aspiring QBs to work with the Mastrole Passing academy, because it will definitely help get you to the next level. I would also like to than Coach Art Hall and Coach John Congemi, who have also given invaluable instruction (What an awesome staff!!). Thanks for all you have done!!

Coach,
Being from the north up here in South Bend, Indiana it was great finding a quarterback coach like yourself. With my son being an 8th grader I was looking for someone not only with the knowledge and experience at the quarterback position (which you definitely have), but also the ability to relate to someone at this age. You and my son Dylan seemed to form a bond almost immediately and we liked your positive approach to teaching the position. He made tremendous gains in his throwing mechanics and footwork. I believe our time together will greatly benefit Dylan in his endeavor to be the best quarterback and young man he can be. Thanks again, we will be back soon.

“Coach Mastrole, I just wanted to drop a line saying thanks for your work with Alton. He is now the starting quarterback at Boone High School, and a lot of his improvement is directly related to your coaching. You have added a great deal of polish to his game, starting from the ground up. His footwork, which was once a weakness, has improved tremendously after working with you, and I believe it may now be his biggest strength. Improving his footwork has also improved the consistency of his release point and accuracy. Alton has worked with a lot of quarterback coaches, but you are the first one to really connect with him and help understand how to correct the deficiencies in his game. Thanks again.”

“I have coached and personally worked with Ken Mastrole at the professional level and his work ethic and attention to detail is why he has become such a good teacher.”The QB position is a unique one and the fundamentals and mechanics required at the ground level are the cornerstone of his instruction.
“He understands that championship caliber play at the QB position starts at the feet and works up from there. Most importantly he understands the inherent value to the mental side of the game from the neck up.”

“Just wanted to let you know how much Jacob and I appreciate all your hard work and instruction. Jake suited up last week and when he stepped on the field he was the ONLY one prepared. He moved into the starting slot immediately and it was totally due to your help in getting him ready. We see a big change in his approach to the position and confidence. He shows the confidence to say to the coach’s when a pass will not work due to his position in relation to the reciever, his movement in the backfield is balanced and sure footed. The coach’s are amazed at his basic skill level and ability to understand the game…..Thanks and look forward to our next lesson~~~Larry”

Ken Mastrole is one of those special people who is a master at transferring his knowledge of QB play to his students. Since beginning to work with Ken, my son, Geoff, has improved his game considerably…not only the physical fundamental aspect of QB play but also with the proper mindset of a QB. Having been a college QB myself, I know something of what it takes to play the position. Ken Mastrole has that special skill of bringing the best out of the QBs in his tutelage. Ken is not in a rush to complete a session. He will do whatever it takes to accomplish his goal for the day. I only wish I had found Ken Mastrole sooner than I did. Ken wants the best for each of his QBs and will go above and beyond the call of duty to help however he can. Thanks Ken. With your help, Geoff will realize the goal of playing QB at the next level.

“Mastrole Passing Academy has taken my sons QB skills to the next level. What coach Mastrole does well is teach every aspect of the throwing motion along with the mechanics both above and below the waist. His knowledge of the QB position and the amount of different drills (footwork, release, etc.) he puts the kids through is unmatched. Coach thanks for working with Max as you continue to help him become the complete QB. I would recommend your passing academy to any QB who wants to take their game to the next level.”

“Having been around camps and combines for over 30 years, see some of the best perform, I have had the opportunity to watch a lot of instructors teach the sport of football. To me, there are very few who take the time to teach the way Ken Mastrole does. His experience as a player and as a coach certainly comes through in his approach to the game. At a time when there isn’t enough emphasis on doing things the right way, he has the formula for success at his camps and as a private instructor.”

“If you are looking for the complete quarterback coach, Ken Mastrole has the ability to create constant, sound techniques for quarterbacks. His attention to detail and ability to continually break down the mechanics of the position is phenomenal. His Passion and understanding of each quarterback he works with is unique. Overall, Coach Mastrole makes quarterbacks better by identifying what they do well and what they need to work on. Your commitment as a quarterback to the most important position on the field will elevate your game and put you a step ahead with Coach Mastrole.”

Ken,”Just a quick note to Thank You and express how pleased we are with your Passing Academy.I heard good things about your program about four months ago and when researching it was most impressed with your support staff so I decided to give it a shot. My two quarterback sons, one in high school and the other in senior Pop Warner, came to the camp hoping for a good workout and more tips exclusively at the skilled positions. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised; I stayed for most of the day as we saw some of the best position players in the entire area present. My sons quickly realized the hi-level of talent in SW Florida, and as they worked with Ken’s staff I watched them improve throughout the day !! Each station they worked at was directed by knowledgeable coaches and there was no goofing around, just focus on the skill and execution. By the end of the day I was convinced they needed more attention at this caliber, and by this organization.Since the camp, we have utilized Ken and his staff for the Small Group Clinics and they have been fantastic. Having Ken Mastrole work directly with my boys has made a dramatic improvement at their positions and they are still attending these sessions and continuing to improve. In fact, recently we watched last seasons game video of both boys and the improvement of their set-up and delivery was actually comical as we were laughing out loud !!

Thank you Ken for all the hard work you have spent on my sons. I know their improved footwork and arm motion is all attributed to you and your staff and we greatly appreciate it !! And lastly, I cannot thank you enough when I have heard through the high school sports circle of coaches how you have complimented and promoted my kid and his future potential; now THAT truly is priceless coming from a professional like you and him getting noticed in hopes to play at the college level !!!

I look forward to your continued education with my boys !!”

Respectfully,

JAY ATTWOOD

Coach Mastrole, We have been to a couple other Quarterback camps before & Brock has never come away with any critisim before, it was always more of what they thought we would want to hear instead of things to improve Brocks game. We love the advice & knowing Brock he will take it to heart to improve. We will definitly be back.

Coach Ken, I cannot thank you enough for helping me become a better football player. Your hours of handy drills and your professional edge have been extremely helpful, but the best tool you have given me is to believe in myself and to work hard if I want something bad enough. Your job would be easy if every quarterback knew how to execute both of these to the highest degree. I feel like without your training and faith in me, I wouldn’t have achieved the goals I set out to when I decided football was the sport for me. So much of my game has improved since I have joined your sessions and I have only been to a handful of them. I am now playing quarterback on the Varsity football team as a sophomore and I am working harder than ever to be all that I can be both on and off the football field. Thank you so much for believing in me Coach! See you at the next training session!

High school quarterbacks throughout South Florida can improve all aspects of their game with the Mastrole Passing Academy. Coach Mastrole’s experience playing and coaching the quarterback position is why my son Ivan Rosales who is the quarterback at Ronald Reagan/Doral Sr. High attends Mastrole Passing Academy. Coach Mastrole’s training sessions have a small quarterback to coach ratio, which allows for more reps and coaching to take place. As a high school football coach I know that our time coaching individual positions during practice is limited and sometimes quarterbacks don’t get enough time to work on the fundamentals. My son, Ivan has made great progress since he started working out with coach Mastrole; he has improved his pocket presence, footwork and defense recognition. A quarterback’s footwork is extremely important and the ladder has improved his accuracy. I strongly recommend Mastrole Passing Academy as it has made a significant impact in my son’s performance on the field.

Ken, thought I would send you a thanks for working with Tyler. It is funny that when we go to various parks to throw, somebody will always come up and ask about Tyler. Whether it is asking his age or who does he play for, the questions keep coming. Parents that do not even know us, will see him working and comment on his drop, arm, or something. I give you the props and just wanted to say thanks for your work with Tyler.

Coach Mastrole has taken Abe to another level as far as the mechanics of quarterbacking. My son Abe was able to compete and start at quarterback on varsity as a freshman and sophomore with the help of Coach Ken. He plays 6A football in Miami-Dade would not be able to handle those potential D1 defenders without Coach Mastrole’s instructions.
Thank you so much Coach

Coach, Thank you for doing such an excellent job with Ryan. His 3 & 5 step drop have improved significantly and he does seem to be mastering the passing game to his left. It is so difficult to find sessions that are more advanced such as yours. Thanks for everything.
