Saturday, April 14th 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Private quarterback coach and Miami Herald writer and High School football scout Larry Blustein will be hosting a camp in South Florida. The camp will provide quarterbacks and receivers from the 8th-12th grade an environment designed to establish the necessary fundamentals and mechanics to excel. The camp will also feature competition and exposure. Several quarterbacks that have been through Ken Mastrole’s camps in the past have gained state and national exposure as well as developing the proper base and advanced fundamentals to play the quarterback position. Recent quarterbacks that have been through the program include Jake Rudock, former St. Thomas record setting quarterback and current Iowa Hawkeye, Javan Shashaty of Calvary Christian who owns Broward and state records headed to Liberty University, Rafi Montalvo and Kenneth Mouton. Montalvo starred at La Salle High School in Miami and is now a quarterback at the US Naval Academy. Mouton, who graduates this year will be on his way to compete at the quarterback position at the US Naval Academy. EJ Hilliard, Miami Northwestern star, now enrolled at FIU, Gunnar Holcombe, University School, Marshall commit.
